Why is this important? In early 2025, the CSO Board adopted a new Strategic Plan to guide the implementation of a bold new vision to grow the CSO family for the next three years. One of its five strategic pillars is: to position the Charleston Symphony as a Premier Destination for Talent and Leadership. The organizational culture the CSO has built and wants to continue to foster is a family feeling of welcoming and being gracious hosts for the musicians (both the core musicians who live in Charleston and the guest musicians who come from out of town for the concerts).
How do we play our part? The CSOL Feed the Musicians program helps the musicians have an enjoyable break from their rigorous concert rehearsal schedule, helps them get to know each other (particularly the guest musicians) and builds long-lasting relationships so the CSO can continue to recruit remarkable musicians to entertain its audiences (us)!
Sign up to volunteer to enhance our remarkable musicians’ experience! And it’s fun for us to get to know them as well to enhance our enjoyment of each concert we attend.
